I'm so proud to be a Mother

The kids are doing well. Growing so big. It is hard to believe that DD was once a tiny baby who was so quiet and innocent, and now is is a 3.5 year old who could talk the leg off a chair and is cheeky to boot! She is just the most adorable sweet little girl who makes me so proud with her gentle sweet nature. She is incredibly clever, she will be an intelligent girl that one, I can only hope that between her Father and I, we can teach her just how important she is, and teach her the importance of striving to do her best and not to be scared to think she is great. I want to raise a child who believes in herself, who is not scared to go for broke and take a risk.

My son on the other hand, it is so hard to believe that 12 months ago, he was a screaming spewing machine. I love the little man dearly now, but 12 months ago I was ready to throw him out the bloody window, he drove me and C nuts with the spewing. Seriously everytime you picked him up, the kid puked, everytime you put him down he puked, he puked all day long, cried all day long, and never slept. Up until 9 months old I constantly asked myself what had I done wrong? WHy did I deserve such a child? When he started sleeping 6 hours a night, after we took him to the naturopath, it was absolute bliss, I thought all my Christmas' has come at once. Fast forward to 13 months old, he has been on prescription formula since 9.5 months old (yes the doctors kept telling me he was normal, it was normal to spew so much) and he goes to bed at 7pm everynight with no fuss, and generally sleeps until 6 or 7 the next morning. He has 2 day sleeps roughly 10 or 11 am, and 1pm both for an least an hour! He is in such a great routine, and the kid eats like a steam train! He is cheeky, and the most adorable little boy I have ever come across in my life.

I'm so proud of my children, can't wait to have some more, which might be soon hopefully.
